Backstory
I’m a Bay Area native. Growing up, I lived in Oakland and went to school in San Francisco. I’ve crossed the Bay Bridge more times than I can count.
Despite growing up here, I had little exposure or connection to the tech ecosystem. It wasn’t until I came back from college and saw the explosion in mobile and how rapidly the city was changing that it hit me.
I found my way into investing early on and quickly realized I had a passion for it. I worked at LGP, developing a deep understanding of what metrics and qualities drive businesses at scale. When I got the call from Sequoia, I saw an opportunity to partner with the best founders and entrepreneurs at the earliest stages. It was an opportunity I couldn’t miss.
On the Lookout for
I’m fortunate to work with founders spanning several sectors: from enterprise applications and infrastructure to commerce and marketplaces. My focus is on founders, their unique insights, and the scale of the potential opportunity. That focus isn’t confined to any one market or sector. I care about working with people with integrity and a desire to make an outsized and lasting impact.
